Hi! I'm the swimmer sister! :) I can definitely appreciate your strategies to getting to the pool easily. Developing a new routine/habit definitely needs to be easy, at least at the beginning. But, if there is a part of a new habit that seems a bit challenging keep going/doing! One of the challenges for me developing a swimming habit was when to swim. When I discovered a local pool that had open swim at 5:30am I initially thought that was too early for me, even though I am an early riser. But it was the best time for me to go with regards to my schedule and my families schedules (before work and school). So I dd it! And I'm so grateful I did because it has become 'my time', not just to work out but to just do something for me. And in addition to enjoying the swimming part of the habit (the main part!), I really enjoy coming home to enjoy breakfast and coffee! It feels well deserved! :) So, just keep doing!
